Birmingham through the eyes of it's Artists

We, in Birmingham are not only lucky enough to have amazing artists we also have our fair share of comedic genius's and one of my favourites of Joe Lycett who summed us perfectly in the foreword of the book.

The book launch was a fantastic event and having the opportunity to meet all the artists whose work I have admired for a long time was an absolute treat, we are all so proud of the book and look forward to hearing feedback from it.

I grew up in Birmingham and wear my Brummie status with pride, Birmingham and it's love it or loathe it accent is having a bit of an awakening and I for one think it's been a long time coming, us Brummies have known forever how brilliant it is. We LOVE Birmingham our people are creative, loud, innovative (it wasn't the centre of the Industrial revolution for no reason!), fabulous, diverse (it has some of the most ethnic diverse communities in the UK), rammed full of knowledge (with the amount of diversity in our communities we know alot about alot of things).

Basically we're amazing and you should all come and visit!!

And if you buy the book you can pop it in your bag and stand in the footprints of the Artists and look at the views, the buildings and see what they saw.

My colour palettes are either harmonious rainbow blends or contrasting harsh colours which I think have some harmonious elements in the way the contrasting colours are used, I hope you like them and if you wish to buy any prints please don't hesitate to get in touch.
